Digitized archival documents are divided into two chronological categories: "Окупаційний період" (occupation period) and "Радянський період" (Soviet period), although the documents within these categories extend beyond those chronological boundaries. The occupation period documents feature OUN, UPA, and partisan documents from 1936-1957, especially World War II. The "Soviet period" documents actually hold materials from the 1840s onwards, namely metric books recording births, marriages, and deaths for church parishes in Rivne oblast from 1840-1924, and minutes from Rivne city council in the months leading up to the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Users should note that the separate "Е-архів" section on this website only contains scans of archival descriptions rather than the documents themselves.
