The Odesa oblast archive has digitized archival documents from throughout the region's modern history. To access digital files, click "Електронний архів: фонди, описи, документи" (digital archive: collections, descriptions, documents) on the right-hand toolbar. Besides archival finding aids, many original primary sources are digitized. These include the 1897 Odesa census; metric books and birth records for both Jewish and Christian populations in the 19th and early 20th centuries; documents from the Nazi occupation of 1941-1944; a complete file on prisoners in the Nazi Mauthausen concentration camp; and NKVD files on repressed persons. Additionally, the archival website's online exhibitions include digitized documents and photos from major events and different regions in Odesa oblast.
