Several rich collections are digitally available on the Kyiv City archive's website. Found at this link, they include the "Чорнобіль. Хроника Києва. Он-лайн архів" (Chornobyl. Kyiv Chronicle. Online archive), a rich source on the Chornobyl nuclear disaster and its aftermath. This collection includes 504 digitized archival documents from three different archival collections pertaining to all aspects of the Chornobyl nuclear disaster. Documents come from All-Union, Ukrainian socialist republic, and Kyiv regional and city government institutions from 1986 through 1998. The Kyiv City Archive has also digitized birth records and civil registration office records for 1919-1936, with a particularly rich source on early Soviet divorces ("Проіндексовані актові записи про народження за 1919-1936 рр." and "Оцифровані аркуші книг відділів реєстрації актів цивільного стану у м. Києві за 1925-1935 рр.")
