The Russian National Library's online collection of digitized newspapers includes many newspapers from Ukraine in both Ukrainian and Russian languages. Collections are especially rich for the mid-19th century through the 1940s, but researchers will find materials for as early as the 1700s and as late as the 2000s. Collections are organized by city, so the researcher must know which cities they are interested in and choose the corresponding letter of the Russian alphabet. To use this site, click the blue link listed under the periodical collection entry, then click "показать аннотацию," and then click the link to scanned editions. This will bring you to a list where you can select the digital scan of the newspaper you wish to view.
