The Dnipropetrovsk oblast archive website holds digitized documents from the region's early Soviet history, especially on famine and repression, as well as church and synagogue metric books. Under the heading "elektronyy arkhiv" on the lefthand toolbar, "kartoteky" holds the registration cards of people (including kulaks) deported from Ukraine and sent to special settlements in the 1930s and1940s. The section "metrychni knyhy" leads to several metric books recording birth, marriage, and death for church and, predominantly, synagogue populations. Under "Holodomor 1921-3" the researcher will find several digitized documents pertaining to the 1922-3 Ekaterinoslav famine. Finally, the section "Vydannya" includes digitized document collections — one pertaining to dekulakization, collectivization, and Holodomor in Dnipropetrovsk 1929-33, and another containing the meeting records of the Ekaterinoslav City Duma, August-December 1917.
